Overview.
Prime Spaces was appointed to install a French drain system to resolve rising damp affecting the property’s walls. Excess ground moisture around the foundation was allowing water to accumulate near the structure, leading to damp penetration and early signs of wall deterioration.
The objective of the project was to redirect groundwater away from the building, reduce moisture pressure against the walls, and create a long-term drainage solution that protects the property from recurring damp problems.
Project Results
The completed French drain system now provides a reliable drainage solution that protects the property against future damp issues. By redirecting water away from the foundation, the structure is better protected from cracking, moisture damage, and ongoing maintenance problems.
